A form of collateralized debt obligation (CDO) that is backed by a portfolio of bonds. The bonds may be secured or unsecured, issued by corporations or sovereign obligors and may be senior or junior. The CDOs may comprise a particular group of bonds or may be any combination thereof. The CDO may even include direct loans.
